Here I Stand

01. Here I Stand

For God and Country there burns a fire within the hearts of men;
It is a flame of deep desire that nothing can extinguish.
It is driven by the spirit of those saints whose firm convictions
Brought grief and persecution great, but they never would be shaken!

Crying:  Here I stand, I can do no other;
God's commands are righteous and true.
This Nation was built on those tablets of stone,
And I will stand on that rock, though I stand alone!

Oh, governors, judges, and presidents - all people in this nation -
Tell us who will rule the rule of law in coming generations.
If we deny and compromise the Law of God in our Land,
And if we live in the fear of men we will fall and may never rise again.

So we must stand, we can do no other;
God's commands are righteous and true.
This Nation was built on those tablets of stone,
We will stand on that rock, though we stand alone!

"America the beautiful..." God shed His grace on thee,
And by that grace we will stand firm,
"…from sea to shining sea," "…from sea to shining sea."
"…from sea to shining sea."

(Spoken by Judge Roy Moore)
"If the acknowledgment of God will be taken from us, if we sit quietly by while this inalienable right is taken, even the rocks, and the trees, and the stones that you see will cry out for judgment…"(Applause)
"…If I should fail to do my duty in this case, for fear of giving offense, I would consider myself guilty of treason toward my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings."

Here we stand, we can do no other;
God's commands are righteous and true.
This Nation was built on those tablets of stone,
We will stand on that rock, though we stand alone!
I will stand on that rock, though I stand alone.

02. No Other Gods

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit, Three in One
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
Many false gods men devise - lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes
And the idol of selfish pride
While the true God men deny
We will honor and adore, hoping in Him evermore!
Living justly, loving mercy, walking humbly with our God
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
True repentance we will bring to our Prophet, Priest and King!
We shall have no other gods before Him!

03. Never Be Shaken - Psalm 15

Who may dwell, Lord, in Your sanctuary?  Who may live, Lord, on Your holy hill?
He whose walk is blameless, who knows what is righteous,
He who speaks the truth from his heart.
Who has no slander on his tongue, does not do his neighbor wrong,
Has no slur upon his fellow man.

He who does these things will never be shaken, never be shaken.
He who does these things will never be shaken.
He who does these things will never be shaken, never be shaken.
He who does these things will never be shaken.
He will stand fast, never be shaken, never be shaken.

Who may dwell, Lord, in Your sanctuary?
Who may live, Lord, on Your holy hill?
The vile man he will abhor, honors those who fear the Lord,
He who keeps his Word even when it hurts.
Who lends his money interest free, takes no part in bribery,
He, oh Lord, may dwell with thee.

He who does these things will never be shaken, never be shaken.
He who does these things will never be shaken.
He who does these things will never be shaken, never be shaken.
He who does these things will never be shaken.
He will stand fast, never be shaken.
He will stand fast, never be shaken.

04. Expectation - Psalm 5

Give ear to my prayer, oh Lord my God,
Listen to my cry for help.
In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice;
I will wait in expectation for You.
You are not a god who takes pleasure in evil;
With You the wicked cannot dwell.
The arrogant cannot stand in your presence;
You hate all of those who do wrong.

But I by your great mercy, oh Lord,
Will come into Your house.
In reverence, Lord, will I bow down;
Toward Your holy temple bow down.

Lead me, oh Lord, in your righteous;
Because of all my enemies, lead me.
Make straight Your way before me;
Lead me in Your righteousness, lead me.

Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;
Their heart is filled with destruction.
Their throat is an open grave, with their tongue they speak deceit.
Oh God, declare them guilty;
Let their intrigues be their downfall.
Banish them for their many sins, for against you they rebel.

Let all who take refuge in You be glad;
Let them ever sing for joy.
Spread Your protection over them;
Let them ever sing for joy.

For surely, oh Lord, the righteous You bless;
You surround them with Your favor as a shield.
In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice;
I will wait in expectation for You.
I will wait in expectation, I will wait in expectation for You.

05. Everlasting to Everlasting - Psalm 90

Oh Lord, You have been our dwelling place through all generations.
Before the mountains were born, long before Your creation,
You are God, our dwelling place.
You are God, our dwelling place.

From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
From everlasting to everlasting, You, oh You are God.

For a thousand years in Your sight, are like a day that has gone by.
As morning grass withers by evening, our days soon pass and we fly away.
So teach us to number our days, let us gain hearts of wisdom.
May Your favor rest upon us, show Your glory to our children, oh Lord.
You have been our dwelling place through all generations.
Before the mountains were born, long before Your creation.
You, are God, our dwelling place.
You are God, our dwelling place.

From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
From everlasting to everlasting, You, oh You are God.
From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
From everlasting to everlasting, You, oh You are God.
You, oh You are God.
You, oh You are God.

06. Refuge - Psalm 46

God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.
So we will not fear, though the earth give way,
And though the mountains fall into the midst of the sea,
Through the waters roar, and the waters foam,
Though the mountains quake, and we're all alone;
God is our refuge and strength.

There is a river, whose streams make glad the city of our God.
Oh, the holy place where the Most High dwells,
He is within her, she cannot fall.
For God is with her to the break of day.
He lifts His voice and the earth melts away.
…There is a river.

Be still and know that I am God, among the nations I will be exalted.
Oh, come and see the works of the Lord,
The desolations He has wrought on the earth.
He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth;
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear!
Be still and know that I am God,
Be still and know that I am God.

The God of Jacob is our refuge;
The Lord Almighty is with us.
The God of Jacob is our refuge;
The Lord Almighty is with us.

07. Savior - Psalm 68

Praise be to the Lord, to God, our Savior.
Praise to God Who daily bears our burdens.
Oh, Sovereign Lord You give us breath, You deliver us from death.
Praise to God Who daily bears our burdens.

Chariots of God are tens of thousands.
He is come into His sanctuary
Oh, our God is a God Who saves, therefore shall His name be praised.
He is come into His sanctuary.

Show us Your strength, oh Lord, as You have done before.
Let the mighty congregation hear Your thunder roar.

God is awesome in His sanctuary.
He will give His people strength and power.
Oh, He Who rules the earth and seas soon shall crush your enemies.
God is awesome in His sanctuary.

Show us your strength, oh Lord, as you have done before.
Let the mighty congregation hear Your thunder roar.

Praise be to the Lord, to God, our Savior.
Praise to God who daily bears our burdens.
Oh, Sovereign Lord You give us breath, You deliver us from death.
Praise to God who daily bears our burdens;
Praise be to the Lord, to God, our Savior.

08. Psalm One

How blessed is the man who does not take his stand in the way of wicked men
But oh the law of the Lord, it is his chief delight!
And in His law he meditates both day and night

And he shall surely be like a green, green tree, planted by streams of water
And he shall surely be like a green green tree
And everything he does shall prosper.

The wicked are not so, but when the wind does blow, like dust they all blow away
The way of wicked men will perish in the end
Oh but God, He loves the righteous' way

And he shall surely be like a green, green tree, planted by streams of water
And he shall surely be like a green green tree
And everything he does shall prosper.

And he shall surely be like a green, green tree, planted by streams of water
And he shall surely be like a green green tree
And everything he does shall prosper.

09. Arise!  Shine!

A horrible and shocking thing has happened in our land
The prophets prophesy their lies, and the priests see things through their own eyes
They rule by their own authority
It seems they have forgotten Me
They have turned aside, they have gone away, and My people love it this way!
But what about judgment day?!

Arise!  Shine!…Arise, shine…For your Light is come!
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
Arise!  Shine!…Arise, shine…For your Light is come!
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

My people do not fear my name, rather take my name in vain
They're rich and powerful, fat with pride
Where is my beautiful blood-bought bride?
She's playing "harlot" with the world
Traded my glory for a dime-store pearl
She has no conscience for all her sin
But what will she do in the end?
What will she do in the end?!

Arise!  Shine!…Arise, shine…For your Light is come!
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
Arise!  Shine!…Arise, shine…For your Light is come!
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

If my people who are called by my name, would humble themselves and pray!
If they would seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, then I would hear, and I would forgive
And I would heal their land!
And I would heal their land!

Arise!  Shine!…Arise, shine…For your Light is come!
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
Arise!  Shine!…Arise, shine…For your Light is come!
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
Arise!  Shine!…Arise, shine…For your Light is come!
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
Arise!  Shine!…Arise, shine…For your Light is come!
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

10. In God We Trust

We have heard with our ears and our fathers have told us.
Oh, Lord what you did in their days long ago;
You drove out the nations and planted our fathers,
Crushed all the foes and made our fathers grow.

And it was not by the sword that they won the land…
It was not strong arms that made them stand.
Your right hand gave them land…
Your strong arm kept them from harm…
And the light of your face and your life-giving grace.
For you loved them
Yes, you loved them…In God they did trust!

You are our God and our King who decrees all our victories!
Through you we push and we push till we push back our enemies

And it's not by the sword that we'll win the land…
It's not strong arms that make us stand…
Your right hand gives us the land!
And your strong arm keeps us from harm!
And the light of your face and your life-giving grace.
For you love us
Yes! You love us…In God we trust!

In God we trust, and in God we will make our boast all day long
However, forever, we'll praise You, Oh Lord, with our heart and song.

And it's not by the sword that we'll win the land…
And it's not strong arms that make us stand…
Your right hand gives us the land!
And your strong arm keeps us from harm!
And the light of your face and your life-giving grace.
For you love us
Yes! You love us…In God we trust!

11. Honor Your Father and Mother

(Spoken by Micah Laughlin, Judy's then-3-year-old grandson)
"Honor your father and your mother that it might go well with you."

Honor you father and mother, give them honor due
That your days may be long on the land the Lord has given you
Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right
This is pleasing to God and this is holy in His sight

So that it may go well with you
So that your days may be long
You must obey from the heart of you
God knows when motives are wrong

Honor you father and mother, give them honor due
That your days may be long on the land the Lord has given you
Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right
This is pleasing to God and this is holy in His sight

When you honor your parents you gladly do what they say
Never grumbling nor arguing
You will humbly obey
Honor oh every authority God has placed over you
When we really love Jesus we do what He tells us to do!
Honor your father and mother
Honor your father and mother.

12. One Man, One Wife

You shall not commit adultery
God created it to be that one man shall marry one wife
And love together for the rest of their lives
Just as Jesus laid down His life, so a man will sacrifice
He will nourish cherish and adore
She will honor him evermore
When a man even looks at a woman and desires her secretly
He is guilty of adultery!
So, dear husbands, listen to our plea:  Guard your eyes and guard your purity!
God loves clean hands, He loves a pure heart
So love your own wife till death do you part
One man, one wife…one man, one wife
One man, one wife.

14. Coram Deo (Before the Face of God)

Coram Deo, wherever we go, we live before the face of God
Waking, sleeping, living, breathing, we live before the face of God
If I should take the wings of the morning, or dwell beneath the darkest sea
Coram Deo, His hand will guide me, He will abide with me!
Coram Deo, Solo Christo, by Jesus' righteousness alone
And by the gift of faith, Sola Fide
I am in Christ by faith alone
His grace alone has wrought salvation, and not the works that I have done
Sola Gratia
Soli Deo Gloria, Glory to God alone!
Coram Deo, Solo Christo, by faith alone
I will rejoice in Your commandments
And by your Spirit will obey
Your Holy Word alone, Sola Scriptura, will lead me all my days!

15. Ten Commandments

Thou shalt have no other gods but Me;
Before no idol bow thy knee.
Take not the Name of God in vain;
Nor dare the Sabbath Day profane.
Give both thy parents honor due;
Take heed that thou no murder do.
Abstain from words and deeds unclean;
Nor steal, though thou art poor and lean.
And do not lie, but always say what is true,
And covet not the things that don't belong to you!

Thou shalt have no other gods but Me;
Before no idol bow thy knee.
Take not the Name of God in vain;
Nor dare the Sabbath Day profane.
Give both thy parents honor due;
Take heed that thou no murder do.
Abstain from words and deeds unclean;
Nor steal, though thou art poor and lean.
And do not lie, but always say what is true,
And covet not the things that don't belong to you!

16. The Greatest Commandment

With all your soul love God above,
And as yourself your neighbor love;
And be to others kind and true,
As you'd have others be to you…
As you'd have others be to you!

Love God with all your soul and strength,
With your heart and all your mind;
And love your neighbor as yourself;
Be faithful, just and good and kind;
Be faithful, just and good and kind!

With all your soul love God above,
And as yourself your neighbor love;
And be to others kind and true,
As you'd have others be to you…
As you'd have others be to you!
