If You Love Me

01. Coram Deo (Before the Face of God)

Coram Deo, wherever we go, we live before the face of God
Waking, sleeping, living, breathing, we live before the face of God
If I should take the wings of the morning, or dwell beneath the darkest sea
Coram Deo, His hand will guide me, He will abide with me!
Coram Deo, Solo Christo, by Jesus' righteousness alone
And by the gift of faith, Sola Fide
I am in Christ by faith alone
His grace alone has wrought salvation, and not the works that I have done
Sola Gratia
Soli Deo Gloria, Glory to God alone!
Coram Deo, Solo Christo, by faith alone
I will rejoice in Your commandments
And by your Spirit will obey
Your Holy Word alone, Sola Scriptura, will lead me all my days!

02. No Other Gods

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit, Three in One
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
Many false gods men devise - lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes
And the idol of selfish pride
While the true God men deny
We will honor and adore, hoping in Him evermore!
Living justly, loving mercy, walking humbly with our God
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me
True repentance we will bring to our Prophet, Priest and King!
We shall have no other gods before Him!

03. In Spirit and in Truth

We worship God according to His Word
We come before His throne with songs of praise!
We worship God in spirit and in truth, and not through images that man has made

Not through gold or silver icons, not through wood or brass or stone
Not through pictures, priests or angels, but by Thy Word alone!
Not through candles, not through crosses, nor created things that be
Not through images of birds that fly, nor fish that swim the sea
But in beauty of holiness we worship Thee
We enter into thy courts with praise
By Thy great mercy Lord we come into Thy house
In reverence we will bow down

God's own Holy Word forbids vain and false traditions
Adding to His worship and foolish superstitions
We must keep entire and pure every act of worship
Preaching, prayer, and sacraments…God's Word read and spoken, oh
Our God is a jealous God, visiting the children with the sins of the fathers to generations of them that hate Him
But showing mercy to thousands who love Him, and keep His commandments, and worship Him in spirit and in truth

04. Holy is God's Name

May we never take the name of the Lord our God in vain
For He will hold him guilty that taketh His name in vain
Some may curse and some may swear, using God's name without care
How it grieves our God on high when we curse or we deny Him

Holy, holy is God's name
May we never, never take His name in vain

When we say we belong to Him, never turning from our sin
His law we do profane and bring Him grief and shame
God is holy, good and true, so we must be holy, too
Every motive, thought and prayer; every conversation pure!

Holy, holy is God's name
May we never, never take His name in vain

May we never, never take His name in vain
"Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Perfect in power, in love and purity."

05. Remember the Sabbath Day

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy
Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work
But the seventh day is a Sabbath Day to the Lord thy God
In it thou shalt do no work thou, thy son nor thy daughter
Thy servant nor thy cattle nor the stranger within thy gates
For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth
The seas and all that in them is, and rested on the Sabbath Day
On the Sabbath, if you keep from doing all your pleasure
If you call the Sabbath "a delight" He will bless you without measure, oh
If you honor the Lord's Day by not speaking your own words
He will cause you to ride upon the heights, and your joy will be in the Lord

The Sabbath Day

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy
Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work
But the seventh day is a Sabbath Day to the Lord thy God
In it thou shalt do no work thou, thy son nor they daughter
Thy servant nor thy cattle nor the stranger within thy gates
For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth
The seas and all that in them is, and rested on the Sabbath Day

So the Lord blessed the Sabbath Day, and hallowed it!
Remember the Sabbath Day!…the Sabbath Day

06. Honor Your Father and Mother

(Spoken by Micah Laughlin, Judy's then-3-year-old grandson)
"Honor your father and your mother that it might go well with you."

Honor you father and mother, give them honor due
That your days may be long on the land the Lord has given you
Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right
This is pleasing to God and this is holy in His sight

So that it may go well with you
So that your days may be long
You must obey from the heart of you
God knows when motives are wrong

Honor you father and mother, give them honor due
That your days may be long on the land the Lord has given you
Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right
This is pleasing to God and this is holy in His sight

When you honor your parents you gladly do what they say
Never grumbling nor arguing
You will humbly obey
Honor oh every authority God has placed over you
When we really love Jesus we do what He tells us to do!
Honor your father and mother
Honor your father and mother.

07. If You Love Me

Jesus said, "If you love Me you will keep My commandments
They will not be a burden to you."
Jesus said, "If you love Me you will not hate your brother
You will forgive each other as I forgive you
I did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill every word of my Father!"
Jesus said, "You have heard it said that you shall not murder but I tell you the truth, now hear what I say
Even if you are angry full of hate for your brother
You are guilty of murder just the same!
Oh, I did not come to destroy the law but to uphold every word of my Father."
Oh how I love Thy law, it is my delight
I will meditate in Your law day and night!
By Your Spirit and word I will live every day
I will make a straight path, I will walk Your way!
By Your Spirit I will live in Your law, in Your love
By Your Spirit I will live in Your law, in Your love
By Your Spirit I will live in Your law, in Your love
By Your Spirit I will live in Your law, in Your love
By Your Spirit I will live in Your law, in Your love
By Your Spirit I will live in Your law, in Your love
By Your Spirit I will live in Your law, in Your love
By Your Spirit I will live in Your law, in Your love

08. One Man, One Wife

You shall not commit adultery
God created it to be that one man shall marry one wife
And love together for the rest of their lives
Just as Jesus laid down His life, so a man will sacrifice
He will nourish cherish and adore
She will honor him evermore
When a man even looks at a woman and desires her secretly
He is guilty of adultery!
So, dear husbands, listen to our plea:  Guard your eyes and guard your purity!
God loves clean hands, He loves a pure heart
So love your own wife till death do you part
One man, one wife…one man, one wife
One man, one wife.

09. Thou Shalt not Steal

Look at that boy stealin' that bike -
Can you believe it?
Look at that girl takin' that magazine -
How could she do it?
6:00 news, couple of guys stealin' a new car
Leavin' the poor driver beside the road out in the rain!
I could never do such things
Taking things that are not mine!
Huh?  Doesn't that box hidden away inside your closet hold money you took out of the cookie jar when your mom and dad weren't looking?
Isn't that book under your bed, your big sister's?
You know good and well she asked you to leave it alone
Now shame on you!
We must be careful how we judge
For we will be judged in the same way that we judge others!
Your daddy gets paid, he just can't wait!
He's ready to spend that money!
But he can't afford to give 10% back to the Lord
Remember the fate of poor foolish Ananais and Saphira?
Stealing from God is really the thing we can't afford!
Stealing is stealing, can't you see?
God takes it all quite seriously!
Look at that boy, look at that girl,
Thou shalt not steal!
A little of this a little of that,
Thou shalt not steal!
Look at that boy, look at that girl,
Thou shalt not steal!
A little of this a little of that,
Thou shalt not steal!!!

10. Speak the Truth in Love

Tell me the truth…how did it happen?
Weren't you really to blame?
Now it appears your neighbor is guilty
You're hurting his good name

Do not bear false witness against your neighbor, against your friend
God loves truth and honor in the inner man
Lying lips, flattering tongues, gossiping He will judge
So walk in the truth, defend the truth, and speak the truth in love!

Tell me the truth…why were you whispering?
Is there a story to tell?
You call it "concern"…It may be "gossip"
Guard your words, guard them well

Do not bear false witness against your neighbor, against your friend
God loves truth and honor in the inner man
Lying lips, flattering tongues, gossiping He will judge
So walk in the truth, defend the truth, and speak the truth in love!

Lying lips, flattering tongues, gossiping He will judge
So walk in the truth, defend the truth, and speak the truth in love!

11. Just Say No

Ahab was an evil king
He coveted Naboth's beautiful vineyard
So he and his wicked wife took poor Naboth's life
But God sees everything, and punished them both very severely
He paid a heavy price - blood and tears and strife!

Do not covet your neighbor's house, his wife, nor his land, nor his brand new chariot!
Do not covet your neighbor's servant, nor anything that belongs to him.

God loves peace and contentment
So if you're ever tempted to covet, just say "No!"…just say "No!"

David was a wonderful king, but he coveted beautiful Bathsheba
He laid and awful trap to take her husband's life
But God sees everything, and punished King David very severely
He paid a heavy price - blood and tears and strife!

Do not covet your neighbor's house, his wife, nor his land, nor his brand new chariot!
Do not covet your neighbor's servant, nor anything that belongs to him.

God loves peace and contentment
So if you're ever tempted to covet, just say "No!"…just say "No!"

Do not covet your neighbor's house, his wife, nor his land, nor his brand new chariot!
Do not covet your neighbor's servant, nor anything that belongs to him.

Satan, get theee behind me!
God's word clearly reminds me His Holy Spirit gives me the strength to just say "No!"…just say "No!"
Just say "No!"…"No!"

12. The Greatest Commandment

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all they heart, with all thy soul
Love the Lord thy God with all thy strength, with all thy mind
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself
It is written for all time
The sum of all God's holy law…the greatest commandment of all!

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all they heart, with all thy soul
Love the Lord thy God with all thy strength, with all thy mind
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself
It is written for all time
The sum of all God's holy law…the greatest commandment of all!

Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself
It is written for all time
The sum of all God's holy law…the greatest commandment of all!
The greatest commandment of all
The greatest commandment of all…
